Kay Stepler Joins The PMA Insurance Group as Assistant Vice President, Medical Management

BLUE BELL, PA – June 29, 2007 – The PMA Insurance Group is pleased to announce that Kay Stepler, BSN, MA has joined The PMA Insurance Group as Assistant Vice President, Medical Management in PMA's Managed Care Service Department. Ms. Stepler will lead the further development and enhancement of PMA's Medical Management Services, including Utilization Management and Disease Management. She will also be working with PMA's Claim Team in overseeing the company's Medical Case Management Programs.

Previously, Ms. Stepler was Product Manager, Product Integration with Crawford & Company. She has over 25 years of experience in progressive management and leadership roles in casualty claims, including experience in various positions in the U.S. division of an international risk services corporation. Ms. Stepler also has over 23 years of combined active duty and reserve service as a Captain in the U.S. Navy.

Ms. Stepler received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, and a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management degree from Pepperdine University, Anaheim, California. She has also received the Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) and the Certified Case Manager (CCM) designations.
