The PMA Insurance Group -- PMA Elite Coverage for Supermarkets

This PMA Elite industry group includes supermarkets, food stores, produce stores and grocery stores, which are primarily engaged in the retail sale of all sorts of canned foods and dry goods, such as tea, coffee, spices, sugar and flour; fresh fruits and vegetables; and fresh and prepared meats, fish, and poultry. This industry group also includes business directly in the supermarket chain of commerce such as the store's immediate wholesale suppliers. This includes firms primarily engaged in the wholesale distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables and wholesale distribution of a general line of groceries.

Convenience food stores, open air markets, fish markets and stores with high exposure to the elderly are not included in this group. Wholesale tobacco is also not included in this industry group. Manufacturers are not included in this group.
